Which MIXAID size do I need?
It depends on your mixer style, not just the quart size. The 5 Qt set fits KitchenAid 5 Qt Tilt-Head mixers. The 7 Qt set fits KitchenAid 7 Qt Bowl-Lift mixers. I have a 5 Qt Bowl-Lift mixer. Will the 5 Qt set fit?
No. KitchenAid's older 5 Qt Bowl-Lift mixer uses a differently shaped bowl, so the 5 Qt set will not fit it. The 5 Qt set is made for Tilt-Head bowls only.
Is there a 7 Qt liner for Tilt-Head mixers?
KitchenAid has never made a 7 Qt Tilt-Head mixer, so the 7 Qt set is made for the Bowl-Lift style only.
What comes in each set?
Three silicone liners and three matching lids. The 7 Qt set comes in red, white and gray. The 5 Qt set comes in red, white and black.
What are the liners made of?
BPA-free, food-grade silicone.
Are they oven, microwave and dishwasher safe?
Yes. They're heat resistant from -40°F to 464°F, and they're microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe.
Can I store dough or batter in them?
Yes. Lift the liner out, snap on its lid, and it goes straight into the fridge or freezer.
Do they work with glass, ceramic or wood bowls?
The flexible silicone may also work with compatible ceramic, glass and wooden bowls, depending on the bowl's size and shape.
